Rents for our homes are due on the first of each month but tenants can choose to pay either weekly or fortnightly if this is more convenient.

To make paying rent easy there are various methods available:

  • Pay at any Post Office or Allpay Outlet (see below) using your rent swipe card - this is a free service, all you need to do is hand over your card and payment.
  • Pay by post by sending a cheque to Fyne Homes Ltd, 81 Victoria Street, Rothesay, Isle of Bute, PA20 OAP. Please make the cheque payable to Fyne Homes Ltd and write your name, address and reference number on the back.
  • Pay your rent online using your debit card in conjunction with your allpay swipe card reference click here to find out more.
  • Pay by Standing Order. If you wish to pay by standing order, please contact us to request a form.
  • Pay by Direct Debit. If you wish to pay by direct debit, please contact your local office or call 0845 607 7117

The welfare benefit system is a very complex system, to try and assist our tenants we have attached a ‘guide to benefits’ which has been put together by Argyll & Bute Council.

This guide lays out the basic structure of the benefit and tax credit system, and details useful contact numbers.

This is only a quick guide to help raise awareness, and we would advise that if you have any queries, you contact either your local welfare benefit officer, or local Advice Centre.
