Fyne Futures Recycling

HOW CAN I RECYCLE?

Fyne Futures currently operate a fortnightly recycling kerbside collection to over 2000 participating households, collecting a range of materials which includes our new textile kerbside collection which was rolled out on 30th July 2009. In addition we provide 37 bring sites, where people can bring items to the most convenient site to be recycled and a collection service for unwanted furniture for resale in the Revive Rothesay furniture shop. ‘Revive Rothesay’ offers good value furniture at reasonable prices, with all profits regenerated back into providing recycling services within the area.

Kerbside collection
by recycling resources can be saved, with most of what we throw away being made out of products which are slowly running out or cannot be quickly replaced due to the rate they are consumed. Many of the materials which we throw into landfill sites have a value and can be used again.
