Village Halls Improvement Programme

A collaborative project led by West Highland Housing Association has been delivered on behalf of the Housing Associations in Argyll.  So far village halls in Tarbert, Carradale, Whitehouse, Tayinloan, Ardrishaig, Cairndow, Strachur and Strathlauchlin have all been assisted.  This has included a range of minor repairs, redecoration and installation of picnic areas, etc.  All of the works have been carried out by Argyll and Bute  Employability Team, providing additional benefits of work experience and skills development.  It is hoped this project can be extended so if you are involved in a village hall keep an eye in the local press and we will update this site if continuation funding is approved.
